How does Web Check-In work?
In the “My Germanwings” section of our website you will find the “Web Check-In” section. Please select the flight segment and the passenger you would like to check in. Each time you use Web Check-In you can check in a maximum of one passenger on one flight. If you would like to check in further passengers and/or flights, please repeat the Web Check-In process for the next passenger and/or flight from the start.
You can only use Web Check-In for flights from Cologne/Bonn (CGN), Berlin-Schönefeld (SXF), Dortmund (DTM), Leipzig (LEJ), Dresden (DRS), Munich (MUC), Hamburg (HAM), Stuttgart (STR), Rostock-Laage (RLG), Zweibrucken (ZQW) and Zurich (ZRH) .
Web Check-In is available for passengers with hand luggage* only.
*NEW: If you are departing from Cologne/Bonn Airport, you can now use the Web Check-In even if you have luggage, simply depositing it at the baggage drop-off desk.
If you are travelling with special baggage or baggage that must be checked, please use the normal check-in desk.
You can use Web Check-In from 24 hours before departure at the earliest until 3 hours before departure at the latest.
